about me

Contact me at:  donaldbuttram@yahoo.com

My name is Donald.  I am married to Kristie.  And we have 6 wonderful children.  I am a computer programmer in the Air Force preparing for full-time … all-out … Christian ministry when I retire (in 2013).  No, I am not waiting because I believe I need the retirement in order to serve.  I fully believe God has kept me in the Air Force.  Every time I have come up for re-enlistment, I wanted to get out … but God always said “not yet.”  So for now, I am continuing to serve where and when I can, and I am continuing to develop in my relationship with Jesus Christ.

Testimony …
I was born in 1970.  Ten years later, I prayed … “God, I am afraid of Hell.  Please save me.”  Thus, the journey began.  I began growing in my knowledge of the Bible.  I always had a sense of God’s Holy Spirit being around me, but I had never been discipled in hearing from the Holy Spirit.  So, I may have attributed much of the Holy Spirit’s direction to my own desires and dreams.  Unfortunately, I did not begin following a lot of those directions until my college years.

It was during college that I really began to understand the Holy Spirit is an actual person who wants to be involved in my life and wants to provide direction to me.  So, I started listening.

I believe God has gifted me to teach, preach, evangelize, serve and give.  I’m sure there are others, but these seem to be my strongest areas.  I am ready to go wherever and whenever God sends.

For now, I am working where he has me.  I believe it would be easier to pack up and go than it is to simply be content where I am.  So … of course … God is teaching me how to be content.  ;-)

Go with God,
Donald B

I have suffered similar demonic attacks for 30 years. Worship and even reading the Bible is difficult. Has to fight with the forces of evil everytime. The situation has impacted my spiritual life, and recently caused to break off with my fiance. I am now seeking pastoral counseling. It will not be easy, since not all counselors are qualified to deal with demonic oppression. I have many people praying for me and the burden is a now a bit easier. But still need full deliverance.

God bless.

God wants all of his children to be free from any grip satan tries to get on us. Satan wants us to forget that. Satan lies. He wants us to forget who we are in Christ. We are his children. Threw his blood we are made pure and right. He gave us power over demons and serpents. Satan hates that, so he lies. I know how you feel. I keep being attacked to. I find rubuking satan out loud in Jesus name to be the most effective way to handle it

Donald, it’s so refreshing to hear testimony of a Brother in Christ. I too am following on a path of evangelizing, teaching and sharing with anyone who will listen. I found Christ in 1976, am 65 yrs. old and retired, so God is using me daily to show people just how much they need Christ. Everyday I pray for a window of opportunity to do this and each day my prayer is answered. Good luck with your service to our country, and thank you for that. I also served many years ago in the army. May God encourage you, make you strong in your faith and eventually set you on the path of your dreams and his desire for you. A friend and brother in Christ, Allan
